Yoga benefits

This 5 week course is designed for complete or near-complete beginners who have heard great things about Yoga and would like to give it a try... but lack the confidence to dive head first into a mixed ability class. We'll explore all aspects of a well rounded yoga practice: breathing techniques, stretches and poses, deep relaxation and guided meditation. Yoga is suitable for anyone regardless of gender or body size - in fact most participants of the first Introduction to Yoga course were men! - and you don't need to be flexible to join. "Whatever scepticism I might have harboured about yoga soon melted away once I started sessions with Elli. I’m the sort of person who is comfortable running around a football pitch and I wasn’t sure how I’d react to the more intimate setting of yoga, especially in the company of strangers. Elli quickly made me feel relaxed and confident enough to give everything a go. And it was great to meet other beginners. After just five sessions I was persuaded that yoga was potentially beneficial for my general well-being and sense of self.  My main regret is that I left it so relatively late in life to try."
